DEEP RED ROOM
Out of this, I have watched:
Bacanno (only 6 eps though. Couldn’t keep track of al the characters, didn’t care for any of them)
Berserk (glorious, glorious story that will get you hooked on the manga)
Big O (ah, Toonami)
Ghost in the Shell (first film and half of SAC. Thought SAC kinda missed the main point/theme of the film)
Grave of the Fireflies (holy depression Batman)
Gurren Lagann (holy FUCK Batman)
Hellsing (you know, I don’t think I watched the last 2 eps….)
Mononouke (dat art style)
Evangelion (Shinji, if my dad gave me a giant robot, I would forgive him for everything)
Outlaw Star (the one that showed me anime wasn’t always for kids)
Paprika (dat animation)
Paranoia Agent (dat twist)
Perfect Blue (Black Swan owes this one big time)
Princess Monoke (my favourite Ghibli film)
Read or Die (one of the most genious super-powers ever thought up)
Samurai Champloo (watched it after seeing this)
Serial Experiments Lain (took me two tries to stick through to the end, and I really had my mind blown)
Spirited Away (it’s great and all, but not Ghibli’s best IMO)
